Your Camp Kindling tickets include a choice of over 100 activities -- plenty for your whole family to try something new together!
Our Unique Enrolment System lets you build a custom schedule from your favourites, so every member of your family has something to look forward to and you make the most of every moment.
Most activities run between 8am and 5pm. After that, it's time for Games and Entertainment.
How much you fit into your weekend depends on the ticket type you choose, your family's energy levels, and your interests. Here's a rough guide to what you can expect.
| Elementary | Standard | Dynamo |
Credits | 45 | 90 | Unlimited |
Enrolment | Standard | Standard | Priority |
Credited Activities | 2 - 4 | 5 - 8 | 9 - 11 |
Drop-in Activities | 4 - 7 | 2 - 4 | 1 - 2 |
Total Activities | 8 - 9 | 9 - 10 | 11 - 12 |
The Standard package is the most popular choice and works brilliantly for most families. If your children are all aged 5 and under, Elementary is a great fit.
Types
Credited Activities use credits from your allowance to reserve a place. You'll need to arrive at the start time and stay for the full session -- but the good news is there's no queuing.
Drop-in Activities don't use any credits and there are no reserved places. Your family can pop in whenever you like, though you may need to queue at busy times.
Credited Activities give your schedule structure with more in-depth experiences, while Drop-in Activities offer the flexibility to fill every spare moment with something fun.
Duration
Most Credited Activities last either 20, 50, or 80 minutes, with a 10-minute gap between sessions so your family has time to move between activities.
Drop-in Activities can take anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours, depending on how busy it is and how long you'd like to stay.
Locations
All activities take place on our beautiful private estate. Depending on the activity, you could find yourselves in the woodland, out in a field, along a trail, or on the lake. Canvas shelters are provided wherever needed.
Capacities
Most Credited Activities have between 10 and 30 places per session, keeping things small enough for a high-quality, hands-on experience with the activity leaders.
Drop-in Activities have capacities anywhere from 1 to 100. Some are turn-based (a small number of people take turns), while others have open capacities based on how many people can comfortably fit in the space.
Categories
Camp Kindling's programme is balanced across these categories: Adventure & Sports, Arts & Crafts, Circus & Comedy, Bushcraft & Survival, Food & Drink, Fun & Games, Health & Wellbeing, Music & Dance, and Science & Engineering. There really is something for everyone in the family.
Skill Level
Most activities are designed for beginners and are perfect for trying something new together. Where possible, our expert instructors will happily tailor the experience for anyone looking for more of a challenge.
Safety
Your family's safety is our top priority. All activities are run by expert instructors with the relevant qualifications. Every activity undergoes rigorous safety assessments and inspections by health and safety officers, and everything is fully insured. In the unlikely event of an accident, we have a fully qualified medical team and treatment facilities onsite.
Age Groups
Camp Kindling is all about families spending time together, building bonds, and making memories. The majority of activities are designed for parents and kids to enjoy side by side.
Our extensive range means that whatever your family looks like, every age group will have plenty of options to excite them.
You'll probably spend most of your time doing things together as a family in sessions that cater to broad age ranges.
For something extra special, it's lovely to spend some time in smaller groups that are more focused by age, using our Kids-only, Youth-only, and Adults-only options.
Enrolment
Enrolment is how you select and book your activities, games, and entertainment before you arrive. You do this through your online account, so your family is ready to dive straight into the fun from the moment you get to Camp Kindling.
Stage / Period | Time Before Camp | What Happens |
View-only Opens | 7 weeks | Sign in to your account on our website to explore hundreds of activities, games, and entertainment options. Mark your favourites so you're ready when booking opens. |
Priority Opens | 6 weeks | Dynamo ticket holders get first access to enrol in sessions. |
Standard Opens | 5 weeks | Elementary and Standard ticket holders can start enrolling in sessions. |
Activity Credits
Every Camp Kindling ticket includes activity credits, which you use to enrol into Credited Activities.
90 credits is enough for most families to completely pack their weekend with activities. If you need more, you can upgrade your tickets or buy additional credits at any time.
Credits have the same value for adults and kids. They belong to the individual ticket holder and cannot be pooled, transferred, or shared.
To help work out how many credits your family might need, you can use our interactive enrolment preview, or take a look at the table below.
These are example activities and credits based on the past 5 years. About 75% will be the same, but we like to mix things up each year to keep it exciting!

Activity Limits
Each person can only enrol into each Credited Activity once. This encourages your family to discover lots of new things and keeps it fair by making sure places on popular activities are evenly distributed.
Activity Restrictions
Occasionally, activities have height or weight restrictions in addition to age requirements for safety reasons. Any additional restrictions will be clearly shown during Enrolment so you can plan accordingly.
Cancelled Sessions
It's rare for activity sessions to be cancelled -- even in bad weather -- but it can happen.
If a Credited Activity session you're enrolled in is cancelled, you'll be notified by email and SMS. The credits used for that activity will be returned to your balance straight away.
