Patrols

Joining a Patrol is one of the best ways to meet people, have a laugh, and get stuck into some friendly competition for the Wildfire Cup. It's not mandatory, but it's a wildly popular part of the weekend that adds a whole extra layer of fun to your Camp Wildfire experience.

How It Works

1. Join a Patrol

When you arrive at Camp, you can join one of four Patrols:

  • Badgers

  • Hawks

  • Squirrels

  • Foxes

Your Patrol becomes your festival family — they'll welcome you in and help you connect with other campers throughout the weekend.

2. Collect Points

Throughout the weekend, you'll earn points for your Patrol through activities, challenges, and even the odd act of kindness. Activity leaders award Patrol points for skill, effort, enthusiasm — and sometimes a bit of cheeky bribery!

3. Play Patrol Games

Head to the Patrol Games Arena daily at 18:30 to take part in — or just watch — the hilariously fun Patrol Games. Here are some of the games you might see:

  • Movie Charades

  • Tag Pull

  • Limbo

  • Compliment Challenge

  • Pegface Challenge

  • Bush Tucker Trials

  • Tug of War

4. Patrol Games Finale

The weekend builds to a climax on Sunday at 18:30 with the Patrol Games Finale. This is where all the points are tallied up and the winning Patrol is crowned. Grab a drink, cheer on your team, and soak up the thrill of the epic final race that decides it all!
