Stand Up Paddleboarding
Forget surfing, SUP is where it’s at. These sessions will take you through the steps as though you are a beginner (if you’re not a beginner, we’re sure that there is something more we can teach you, so not to worry). Starting with a 10 minute land-based lesson we then take to the water and our instructors will take you through your paces to standing – this is normally within the first 5-10 mins. After you have mastered standing, moving forward, turning, avoiding stationary objects and boats, the group will head off on the lake, whilst burning some calories and working the core muscles (some more than others). Wear something easy to move in, (make sure you’ve got a change of clothes, just in case!) bring a sense of humour, and a willingness to learn, and you’re good to go.
