Facilities at camp

What facilities are available at Camp Kindling — toilets, showers, phone signal, electricity, charging, and water refill points.

Updated today

Here's a practical overview of the facilities available on site at Camp Kindling, so you know what to expect when you arrive.

Toilets & showers

Toilets are available across the site, including in all camping areas and near the main event spaces. They are a mix of compost toilets and portable toilets, and are cleaned regularly throughout the weekend.

Showers are available on site — expect them to be busiest in the morning. Hot water is available but can run out at peak times, so going slightly off-peak (early morning or mid-afternoon) is a good strategy.

Accessible toilets and showers are also available — see our Accessibility article for locations and access requirements.

Phone signal & WiFi

Phone signal at camp is very limited or non-existent for most networks. This is part of the off-grid experience, but it's worth knowing in advance so you can plan accordingly.

There is no WiFi available on site. If you need to contact someone urgently during the event, the Info Team in Basecamp can help.

We recommend downloading any maps, playlists, or information you'll need before you arrive.

Electricity & charging

There is no general electricity supply in the camping areas. We recommend bringing a portable power bank to keep your phone charged over the weekend.

If you have essential medical equipment that needs charging, the Medical Tent in Basecamp can help — see our Accessibility article for details.

Water refill points

Free drinking water refill points are located across the site. Bring a reusable water bottle and fill up whenever you need to.

Info Team

The Info Team is based in Basecamp and is your first port of call for any questions, concerns, or practical help during the event. They can help with lost property, directions, medical queries, and anything else you need.
