Black Fish is a community initiative that gets people fishing. It was founded by Mercury Prize winner Speech Debelle and author, model and speaker Alexis Lee. The aim is a fun and safe environment that celebrates their ancestral history with the water.
Black Fish's mission is to support people in connecting with nature, learning the art of fishing together and building lasting relationships along the way.
Their mantra is "from the cities to the seas". It sums up a shared passion for angling and for preserving our waters for generations to come. Whether you're a city dweller or a seaside regular, it's an invitation to get outdoors, pick up a rod and connect with nature together.
