Buffo's Wake

Buffo's Wake are a band who hatched in the murky backwater of Brighton. Armed with accordion, violin and a bucket full of gusto, they mix Eastern European, Balkan and Russian folk with punk rock and cabaret into something entirely their own.

They waltz, tango, mosh and kolo their way through a vast array of influences, so one minute you're swaying and the next you're in the thick of it. The songs tell tales of debauchery, deformity, zombies and anatomy. Not your average folk night, then.

Whatever you came for, you'll end up dancing. Buffo's Wake have a habit of keeping audiences on their feet late into the night.
