ISZI LAWRENCE
Comedian, writer, podcaster and history presenter. Iszi Lawrence knows the past inside out, and knows how to make it funny.
Iszi Lawrence is a writer, comedian, podcaster and history presenter. Iszi has co-hosted BBC Radio 4's flagship show Making History with Tom Holland and presented The Forum on the BBC World Service, so the history side is very much the real deal.
Take your pick. There's Sky History's U-boat: Wargamers, Netflix's The Lost Pirate Kingdom and Your Place or Mine with Shaun Keaveny on BBC Radio 4. On the podcast front, there's The British Museum Membercast and the popular science podcast Terrible Lizards with Dr Dave Hone.
Put all that together and you get someone equally at home with pirates, U-boats and popular science, with a comedian's knack for finding the funny side. Come for the history, stay for the laughs.
