Monka

Monka is a DJ-drummer from Manchester. He takes the biggest house anthems you already know, from the likes of Basement Jaxx, Duke Dumont, Calvin Harris and Candi Staton, and rebuilds them live, with real drums powering the mix and samples and visuals triggered from the same kit.

Familiar tracks, delivered nothing like you've heard them. Where most DJs press play, Monka is behind a full kit, hitting every beat himself while the mix builds around him.

That means the energy is live and loud, and the tunes are ones you'll know the words to. It's a proper dance floor moment. Stretch those calves first.
