ROBIN INCE X PROF. GINA RIPPON
A comedian and a neuroscientist walk into a forest. Robin Ince and Professor Gina Rippon talk brains, bad science and plenty in between.
It's a brain summit. Comedian, broadcaster and science communicator Robin Ince sits down in conversation with Professor Gina Rippon, the neuroscientist whose book The Gendered Brain took a wrecking ball to a hundred years of bad science about male and female brains.
Robin co-hosted BBC Radio 4's The Infinite Monkey Cage with Brian Cox for 16 years. He also created Nine Lessons and Carols for Godless People and co-founded the Cosmic Shambles Network.
Gina is the neuroscientist behind The Gendered Brain, the book that took on a hundred years of bad science about male and female brains.
Curious, generous and properly clever conversation, with laughter guaranteed. You don't need a science degree, just a bit of curiosity and a comfy seat.
