Samuel Nicholson

Samuel Nicholson is a cathartic songwriter, an impassioned singer and a gifted guitarist. His love of music was set alight by Motown records, roughed up by hard rock and finally shaped by his own forays into the jazz, folk and experimental music of decades past.

Picture all those influences meeting in one set. There's the warmth and soul of Motown, the edge of hard rock and the curiosity of jazz, folk and experimental music, all coming through in his playing and his songs.

Expect big feeling, a voice that means every word and guitar work worth watching closely. It's the kind of set that makes you put your drink down and just listen. Then pick it back up again, obviously.
