Soul Power
SOUL POWER
James Brown said it, DJave means it. Soul Power is Motown, Stax and Northern Soul, with no skips.
Soul Power is a themed DJ set from DJave, Camp's in-house DJ, taking its name from James Brown. It celebrates classic soul: Motown, Stax and Northern Soul, played back to back with no skips.
Motown is the Detroit label behind a huge run of pop and soul hits. Stax is the Memphis label known for a grittier, more raw soul sound. Northern Soul is the fast, driving dance sound that grew up on dancefloors in the north of England.
Expect warm, punchy grooves and choruses made for singing along. Put your dancing shoes on, because you'll want to keep moving.
