Steve Bugeja

Steve Bugeja is a stand-up comedian, writer and performer. He's a regular writer on Love Island USA and Love Island Games, and he co-created, co-wrote and starred in the ITV2 sitcom Buffering, which ran for two series. He also regularly supports Iain Stirling on tour.

As well as Love Island, Steve has written on BBC's Race Against the Tide and Comedy Central's Iain Stirling's Roast the Internet. He hosted the BBC Radio 4 series Economics with Subtitles and has toured the UK with his stand-up show Shiny.

On TV, you might have seen him on The Russell Howard Hour, Love Island: Aftersun, Russell Howard's Stand Up Central and Zoe Ball on Saturday.

As MC, Steve is the one holding the whole comedy show together: warming up the crowd, introducing each act and keeping the laughs coming in between. Expect quick wit, a bit of friendly chat with the front row and a comedian who clearly knows his way around a good punchline. Sit near the front at your own risk.
