Swamp Stomp String Band

Swamp Stomp String Band are not just another hillbilly-wannabe country band. Sure, there are twangy banjos, driving guitars, a honky-tonk piano and a thudding double bass, but they use them to power everything from rowdy drinking songs to heartfelt ballads.

Loud, rootsy and very hard to stand still to. The drinking songs are built for a crowd, and before long the whole room is stomping its feet and raising its flagons of cider in the air.

Then they slow it right down. The ballads are the kind that could break even the toughest of folk, so don't be surprised if the person next to you goes a bit quiet. Bring your dancing boots, your singing voice and maybe a tissue. Horse optional.
