VC Pines

VC Pines is Jack Mercer, the former frontman of The Carnabys. He has moved away from the realm of indie-rock and immersed himself in a well of alternative soul, poetry and punk performance, making music that is personal and full of colour.

VC Pines paints the songs he sees in his head, with nostalgia as his main source of inspiration. He uses his music as a canvas, trying "to see what kind of colours memories can give me and therefore what kind of colours parts of the songs are".

Expect a performance that mixes soulful moments with the raw edge of punk and the storytelling of poetry. It's music that bares not just his soul, but his brain.
