Butchery

NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART… If you eat meat, it's good to know where it comes from.

Should you ever get lost in the wild, you will need to know how to prepare and cook wild game.

Dan and his team will demonstrate the skills involved in butchering a Roe deer from the whole gutted carcass into the main joints and cuts. You will be able to get hands-on experience skinning, cutting, jointing, deboning etc.  Later in the evening there will be the chance to cook some of the venison around the campfire.
